Why take horse riding lessons?
The answer is simple. Lessons are your opportunity to turn an interest into a passion and gain increased confidence, esteem, and joy that horseback riding can offer.
L&B Farms offers riding lessons to individuals of all skill levels.

***Payment for lessons is expected at the completion of the lesson unless prior arrangements have been made.

Lesson Levels:
Level 1: goals are a good foundation of safe, secure and simple basics.
Level 2: goals are to improve the use of the aids and to develop more balance.
Level 3: the goals are to continue to improve on the use of aids and control.
Level 4: to be added in the future.
Holiday and Summer Camps
2012 Summer Camp Dates - coming soon!
– minimum of 5 needed to hold camp
– maximum of 10 participants
What else do I need to know for Summer and Holiday Camp?
- Camp hours are 10:00am-3:00pm
- Large heated lounge will be used periodically throughout the day to warm up (if necessary), eat, group activities, etc.
- Riding Lessons are held in an indoor arena. Trail riding as deemed appropriate.
- You will need to bring your own lunch, snacks and drinks. A refrigerator and microwave will be available.
- Smooth sole boot with heel, long pants and helmet are required. (If you don’t own a helmet, one may be borrowed for $2.00)
- A Change of clothes, weather appropriate, is recommended. (Sneakers & shorts is summer is especially recommended)
- Liability Release is required to be signed on 1st day of camp by parent or guardian
- FEES: Each one Week Camp Session: $275; or Daily fee of $65/Day

Birthday Parties!
Our birthday parties are unforgettable and are sure to be one of the most memorable birthdays for your child.
Birthday party space books up quickly so please schedule early to make sure you get the date and time you want.
Party Package:
- Parties are two hours in length
- Accommodation of up to eight children
- Short education of grooming, tacking and care of a horse
- Riding for about one hour
- Pizza, chips, drinks and paper products (cups, plates etc)
- Goody Bags
All of the above for only $250!
We customize the party based on age and riding ability. Please call to inquire about details. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Trail Riding
Trail riding by reservation only!
- Trail Rides are $40/hr
- English or Western Saddles
- From 1-3 hours in length
- Call to schedule a specialty ride
- To Twin Kiss for lunch or ice cream
- To a park for a small snack
- Or suggest something new!
We are located just 1/2 mile from access to the Conewago Trail, which links to the Lebanon Rail Trail and Horseshoe Trail. Lessons can be arranged as a trail ride.
Hauling:
- We offer horse hauling at a per mile fee. Minimum fee is $25

Boarding
Boarding Services:
- $350 to $400/month full care (daily mucking of stall, turn out and feed)
- Includes care of stalls, feeding and turnout. A barn halter and lead rope to be provided by owner.
- ***Full service boarding is to be paid monthly, one month in advance.
- $250 to $300/month pasture care (includes run in shed, daily grain and hay as needed)
- Exercising- Exercising can be riding or lunging. See Lisa for availability and fees.
Training/Board Combination:
- $675/month includes
Training- Training is to be paid monthly, one month in advance.
Training in hunter/pleasure, trail riding and over fences.
For best training results, a THREE MONTH MINIMUM is recommended.
